Focus: Vietnam | From Vistek Ltd

Mississauga, April 23, 2009 – Humber College and 22 graduating and alumni students from its Creative Photography Program have returned from a recent trip to Southeast Asia. What was the experience of a lifetime for the Humber students has yielded an extraordinary collection of photos that has done both the students and the country proud.

A large collection of the photos – printed on museum-quality paper donated by Canson – is currently donning the walls at Vistek Mississauga’s in-store gallery. For those interested in seeing a side of Vietnam that might surprise, and for those who appreciate spectacular photography, a collection of the trip’s top picks will be up until the end of May.

From life in the cities to life in the lush countryside, the students’ extensive travels allowed them to capture remarkable photos of the many faces of Vietnam – images bursting with warmth and humanity. “It’s a tribute to the talent of the students and the quality of the Humber program,” says Geordan Saunders from Vistek Mississauga. “It’s really a privilege for us to feature their work. We’re big fans of Humber and Vistek strongly supports their vision of producing world-class professional photographers."
