The Plan

Provides extended warranty coverage for 2 or 3 years in two different levels - "Basic" and "Gold". The SPP Gold plan offers is a onetime preventative maintenance inspection and a $50 camera rental subsidy (offered while the unit is being repaired.)

What items can be covered:

In general all items with a serial number which are sold as "new", and that are covered under an original manufacturer's warranty of at least 90 days.

How the program works

• The coverage kicks in when the manufacturer's warranty expires.
• The program is intended to provide seamless coverage from the manufacturer's warranty (the extended warranty will offer the same coverage - i.e. will cover for regular wear & tear but will not cover items where there is impact damage).
• It covers the cost of either repairing the unit to operating condition or replacement of the unit.
• If the covered product requires service, the client calls the customer service number provided in the "Terms and Conditions." From there, they may be directed to send or take the unit to a factory authorized service centre.
• If product can not be repaired, it is replaced with an item of comparable (or better features)
