The new three-level black ink technology – incorporating black, light black and light-light black inks – delivers the most neutral black and white prints of any ink jet printer to date – this gives photographers the quality they need to produce sellable prints for the first time ever. New High-Gloss Microcrystal Encapsulation Technology along with new screening algorithms significantly reduces gloss differential. Optional matte black ink can be used to increase black optical density when printing on matte and fine art type papers.
