Thermo Shield Technology provides lightweight, total protection. With TST, the outer surface is "thermo-formed" in a protective "rib-like" construction to provide structure and support. The outer shell is fabricated of Super Nylon – a Mil-Std, double- cord, water and dust-proof, high tenacity and abrasion-resistant fabric. Beneath the surface, a cross-linked, closed-cell PE+EVA Shield resists impact and shock as well as insulation from cold, heat and moisture. Inner padding provides additional cushioning and vibration reduction. The inner lining uses KATA’s own "Yelloop" material which provides scratch- and static-free padding and partitioning. |
