• a video camera: the camera will generate a video image of anything within the range of its lens.
• an arm that positions the camera over its base: he video camera will be mounted at the top of a retractable arm, which will be connected to the base of the unit. When the unit is ready for operation, the arm will be moved upright, stretched to its full length and able to accommodate document viewing up to 11” x 17.” The arm will have a rotating connection for the camera so that it can point down at anything on the base below it or outward at anything in front of it.
