Compact Design

This lamphead is constructed to withstand extremes of use, with its small, heavy duty flashtube.

Easy to Control

Even if the Elinchrom power supply used has symmetrical power distribution only, the photographer is able to achieve a 2 to 1 ratio between the "A" and "S" series of heads. This works because the "A" heads have a duration up to 1/3250 of a second whereas the "S" heads have a duraton up to 1/1600 of a second. The "A" head, being twice as fast, draws twice the energy of the "S" head creating the 2:1 ratio.

Fan Cooled

Fan cooled for increased protection under the most demanding applications. Low noise plus high performance.

Removeable Reflector

Efficient built-in reflector with 90° light distribution to maximize softbox performance.
Additional reflectors and accessories may be added to the front of the head using Elichrom's breech-lock bayonet system.

Modeling Light

The A3000N heads feature a switch to turn the modeling light on or off making it more convenient for the photographer.

Long Reaching Cable

A 16' cable comes attached to the head. Head cable extension cables may be added when the head is used at longer distances from the power pack.
