My interest, inspiration and passion for photography developed at a very young age. My first camera was my pride and joy. Diligently with earnings from my paper route I would purchase film rolls and flash cubes which were needed to photograph my Grade 6 classmates who were all too eager to pose. Along came the digital camera and editing software programs which facilitated the amazing ability to remove acne, soft lines and scars which further stimulated and enhanced my passion to a new, professional level. Today, I often enjoy selecting and suggesting various "nature" locations for individuals, families or wedding parties which allows for and creates a beautiful, peaceful setting and atmosphere. I like to start with a short meeting where I can provide helpful suggestions, tips, professional placement and angle preferences. Creative flair is my speciality - I am delighted to assist in the creation of a Fantasy theme with the use of props and hair and make-up in order to capture your hidden passion or fantasy theme. My ultimate reward in my profession is receiving the appreciation from clients and models regarding their enjoyable experience. Subsequently, the look of satisfaction and the smiles on their faces during our follow up photo viewing session makes the process simply delightful. A particular inspiration and welcomed challenge for me is when someone suggests that they are not photogenic or does not take a great picture. Many who were of this belief now continue to book follow up photo sessions. It is extremely satisfying to have the ability to assist in building ones confidence and self esteem through my deep passion for photography. Primarily, my ultimate goal is to capture both the inner and outer beauty of life through the wonderful and amazing gift of photography.
