We operate a photography and videography business out of a 1511 square foot live / work studio space. We live there full time, together with our very friendly golden retriever, Lucas. Professional photographers and videographers are invited to rent our photo studio by the half day and by the day. You’re coming into our home, and we will treat you like our guest, because that’s what you are. Our studio is equipped with a large shooting area, 16′ backdrops which permit full-body shots of groups of people. We have Bowen studio strobes available for rental, as well as a computer for tethered shooting. Nikon and Canon lenses are also available. We don't supply camera bodies at this time. We have a make-up station, and a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove, toaster oven and microwave. There’s a comfy couch, a dining table and an iPod dock to play your favourite tunes while you shoot. There’s a place for models to change outfits. And there’s a library of more than a thousand books, just in case somebody wants to read something. Darkhorse coffee is on tap, and included in the basic rental price. Studio rental start at $350 per 10 hour day, not including equipment. We are also open to developing subscription relationships with photographers we like to work with. Under a subscription, our studio / home is available on a set number of days per month to select shooters.
