Wychwood Theatre Theatre Direct Theatre Direct Canada’s Wychwood Theatre is available for rentals for rehearsals and productions. This new facility is located in the Artscape Wychwood Barns just minutes from St. Clair and Bathurst. This naturally lit 100 seat theatre is fully equipped with new theatre equipment, blackout drapes, semi-sprung hardwood flooring and fully accessible facilities. Rates are $2300 per week for non-profit theatre productions and $1000 per week for rehearsals. Production rates include a technician for 40 hours and use of technical equipment. Space Usage Permitted Uses: Exhibition, Meeting, Reading, Screening, Video/Film Shoot, Photo Shoot, Audition, Class, Special Event, Rehearsal, Performance Disciplines: Dance, Music, Theatre, Film, Visual Art Restrictions On Use: Our space is an open art space primarily used as a Theatre though we are not opposed to other artistic disciplines and any community or event activities. We do put a restriction on technical work in the space. This is strictly a performance venue so no carpentry, painting or any activities that would damage space or involve bringing chemicals that would not be child friendly.
