My passion and excitement in photography has always been a part of my life. Starting off from when I was very young, my father was a photojournalist in Germany and also for the Calgary Herald. He taught me all the skills I needed to develop pictures in a dark room and to take great pictures. I realized my passion in photography when I got to meet and see an exhibition of Yousuf Karsh's work during a school trip for my photography class. The experience was incredible and at that point I realized I was born to be a professional photographer. I later went on to work with some experienced wedding photographers and also had a great opportunity to work with Renee Kimlova (reneekimlovaphotography.com). She's a beautiful artist with incredible vision and passion in her work. As a photographer, my desire is to tell a story. I do this by being part clown, part life coach, part provocateur and lots of communication. It's an unusual approach and often really fun. Nobody will work harder, or push you harder, to help the "YOU of you" shine through. I was born in Germany, raised in Canada. I grew up in a small town north of Edmonton and I have lived in Calgary, Ottawa, Vancouver and now Toronto, which I have developed love for this beautiful city. It's truly a great place to live!
