Fashion photographer and filmmaker based in Canada, currently attending a mentorship course delivered by world-renowned photographer, Nick Knight. Story-telling is a natural talent of Maraviela’s, having been a best-directing, film-making student during her yesteryears. Maraviela now resides in the Great White North that is Canada! Couture and working with passionate make-up artists, hairstylists, wardrobe stylists and other photographers fuel her creative lust. New York City, Toronto, Boston and Windsor-Essex have been kind enough to host her projects thus far. Travel and architecture furiously inspire her artistry. She spent her childhood sleeping under a sky of blueprints, as well as hand-illustrated interior designs. 12 different places around the Pacific had been her home, and thus her love for film and music is certainly international.
