It’s important for me to form meaningful connections with the people I photograph. It’s through this that I’m able to add my personal touch in capturing their personalities and sharing their stories. I always enjoy meeting my clients before a photo shoot and getting to know them a little better. So if you’re down for grabbing coffee, let’s meet up! A few random things about me I’ve lived around the world, but Vancouver has always felt like home. Photography is my biggest passion, and this love affair started back in my university days. I took a photography class and remember spending the entire day in the darkroom, developing my black and white films. When I bought my first digital SLR, I swam into the ocean without a waterproof case, just to get that perfect shot. I feel extremely lucky to be able to capture different facets of love. And as an artist, I enjoy painting and sketching too. I’m always searching for the next big adventure, and I love to travel. I’ve gone piranha fishing in the Amazon forest, hiked the Machu Picchu, and camped in the Indonesian Thousand Islands. I enjoy food—so much so that when I travel, I do extensive research to taste and try the best local restaurants. I can eat extremely spicy stuff, and my childhood dream was to join a chili-eating competition. Another dream was to work at KFC just to have unlimited chicken meals. I’m open to traveling to shoot I live in Vancouver, but I’ve taken my camera everywhere – Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. I’m happiest when taking photos and exploring new destinations, and I think it would be the perfect recipe for adventure to travel and take photos of you! If you’re up for it, so am I.
