Brian Summers has been a self-employed commercial photographer for the better part of twenty years, turning his lenses and keen eye to all kinds of subject matter and for a wide variety of clients. Clients have sent Brian to shoot rock stars, NHL players, to the bone chilling cold of Nunavut and the exotic Nepali coast of Kauai. His client list includes financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, banks, PR firms, communication companies and breweries. Brian thrives on the diversity that each assignment brings and on delivering the unique imaging solution that is right for each client. Formally trained using film and manual systems, he now operates a digital workflow to ensure the best results in a time sensitive manner. Brian uses both still and motion cameras to communicate visually. His resulting and recognizable work can be found in many forms, from magazine print to national television commercials. When not on shoots, Brian busies himself with “self-assignments”. Over the years he has produced several series that have won him much media attention. Passionate about photography, Brian feels strongly about education, and raising awareness when it comes to image creation, appreciation and intellectual property.
