luxBorealis means “light of the north”. Photography is my way of capturing that light during moments which reveal the art of nature. I also conduct photography workshops for individuals and small groups out in the field discovering your vision and into the classroom to perfect it on screen and print.      My personal work includes natural environment, fine art photographs celebrating the art inherent in the world around us: landscapes, nature and wildlife photographs from across Canada, England, Scotland, parts of Europe as well as Tanzania and South Africa. Being a history buff, my photographs also reflect the rich, historic and cultural legacies of these same locales.      The beauty of the natural world and our built environment is all around us for all to see, but too seldom do we take the time to notice. Photographers do – that’s what we’re all about – not only seeing the big picture, but also the subtle details that add clarity and depth to the landscapes of our lives.
