Mike Capson is a photographer, videographer, and web designer located in Saint John New Brunswick. Mike’s photography can be seen in various local N.B magazines AND also around Canada. He has been shooting for over 10 years and uses his experience as a photographer to create fun and interesting photographs. Mike has a deep family tradition rooted in Photography. Both of Mike’s grandfathers shared an interest in photography. His grandfather, Frederic Capson , was also an award-winning photographer in Saint John and had a long career as a popular local photographer. Mikes work contains many different types of photography including landscape and architecture, wedding, sports, business, and family photography. He has shot in many different locations including his favorites such as New York, Florida and Rothesay NB. Mike shoots on the Canon 5dmkii Camera system with prime lenses and his favourite 24-105mm Canon zoom, he Uses Canon Flashes, Gary Fong Light-spheres, and consistent lighting. For videography work Mike Capson shoots on the same 5dmkii camera system for high-resolution videography. Mike uses various customized stabilization units and tripods with Zoom audio products for audio capture. Mike edits on Macbook Pro laptops. He uses various software including the full Adobe Suite CS5 for maximum creativity including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere, and Illustrator. Mike also uses many apple software products such as Final Cut Pro and on occasion Apple Aperture.
