John is an international award-winning 'Master Architecture & Real Estate Photographer' specializing in 'Ultra-Realistic' architecture, real estate and commercial photography. His work has been featured online, published in lifestyle magazines globally and seen on Discovery TV owned HGTV's 'House Hunters International '. John was born in Carbonear located on a cold rock at the most eastern part of Canada in the late 70's. He moved to England at a young age to warm up and complete his education before moving back to Canada for a second round. On return, he spent over a decade in the hospitality industry in senior executive roles where he developed his savvy business sense. In 2017 he stepped away from hotels and restaurants to develop Images by John Hanson as a showcase for his creative and commercial projects. In 2020, days before the COVID-19 Pandemic shut-down and crippled much of the country, John quickly added Matterport & iGuide Technology to deliver 3D Virtual Tours to help with social distancing in the real estate world. As the company continues to grow, John hired a team of photo editors to handle the mammoth task of editing 1500+ photos/day and getting them all delivered the next morning! Despite incredible growth, John is personally involved in every single project to ensure the 5-star experience for his loyal client-base. When not working 80+ hours a week, John can be found somewhere in Muskoka camping/glamping or on a road-trip somewhere lost in Ontario with his family and a camera.
