Overview

The 540EZ is a powerful, high-output auto-zoom shoe-mount flash with a maximum guide number of 54/177 (ISO 100 m/ft) which is compatible with all EOS cameras.

The Canon Speedlite 540EZ is a high-performance clip-on flash unit designed for professional and advanced amateur users of EOS series cameras. It incorporates sophisticated features that permit everything from simple, automated flash shooting to advanced, flash-enhanced photographic techniques. In comparison to the earlier model 430EZ, the 540EZ offers a wealth of new features and improved functions, many of which were specifically requested by EOS camera users.

Seven Positions: 24mm, 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 70mm, 80mm, and 105mm (During bounce flash photography when the flash unit is set for auto zoom, the zoom position is automatically set to 50mm).
