Kaidan Kiwi Plus VR Head

The KiWi+ adds a click-stop mechanism using easily replaceable detent discs (one included with purchase). The disks are available in a number of positions form 2 - 22. The detent disc makes taking panoramas a snap because there is a detent disc available for any size camera lens.

The Kiwi+ consists of two intersecting black anodized aluminum struts that adjust and lock to accommodate a wide range of cameras. When unlocked, they disassemble into two flat pieces that store easily in your camera bag. Two measurement scales are provided along both axes, so it’s easy to set and record the dimensions for any camera and lens combination.

While the KiWi-L provides the basics, the Kiwi+ adds a click-stop mechanism which uses easily replaceable detent discs (see picture below right). These discs are available in a number of positions (2 through 22). The Kiwi+ ships with one disc of your choice and extra discs are available separately or as a set.

An optional QuickTilt leveler rounds out the lineup. Mounting your camera is easy. Simply choose the appropriate mounting slot on the upright bracket and use the captive clamping knob to adjust and secure the camera. The Kiwi+ attaches to any standard tripod and camera equipped with a standard 1/4-20 mounting thread. The Kiwi+ shown at left is mounted on the QuickTilt leveler (optional accessory).
