The regular Turbo Battery is the premier portable power source for shoe and handle mount flash.
- Now photographers who need to travel light can get the Turbo Z.
- Both will provide lightning performance and great durability. Both Turbo and Turbo Z use the same Turbo Cables for a neat connection to your flash’s high voltage input. The Dual Connector QT48, Extension Cord QT49, and Energy Savers ES1, ES2 also work with both units.
- Turbo or Turbo Z?
A quick glance at the performance chart tells you which Turbo is right for you. At 23 ounces (650g) The “Z” is about 1/3 smaller and lighter than the Turbo. It delivers substantial capacity and recycles almost as fast as the Turbo Battery. The Turbo Z “fuel gauge” is part of a new design that displays charging progress as the battery level increases. The Turbo Battery has the fastest recycling and delivers the most shots per charge of any Quantum Battery.
- Turbo lets you choose between ultimate speed or economy mode for maximum flash capacity.
If you’re a Qflash T/T2 or a handle-mount flash shooter, you may prefer the regular Turbo.
If you use shoe-mounts you may prefer the newer Turbo Z.
