Westcott 3-Light uLite Kit

This complete 3-light kit offers a main and fill light, as well as a third background light which will add depth and dimension to your subject.

This complete 3-light ulite kit offers 1100 watts of power all in one compact box. The main and fill light provides the ultimate in professional style lighting. The additional background light adds depth and dimension while separating your subject from the background. This allows your subject to be the main focus of the image (not your background).

The 6" reflector will illuminate the background with a circular pattern while adding depth and dimension to your subject.The uLite modifiers are one of the first collapsible softboxes designed to give you the amazing light quality of a traditional style softbox, without the tedious set up. With one simple push, your softbox takes form and locks into place. Although the uLites are designed to be compact in nature, they project an extremely broad area of light coverage. Basically, you can light a larger area with a smaller box. This is achieved by placing the removable diffusion front flush with the outer edge of the softbox. A simple 2-light setup can properly light up to a 10' x 10' (3.04m) area.

This kit offers two 500-watt lamps and one 100-watt lamp providing 1100 total watts of continuous tungsten power. Lamps are rated for over 60 hours of use.

With constant lighting, what you see is what you get. That makes this kit extremely easy to use as you can visually see exactly where the light patterns are falling (and don't need any additional cumbersome cords or remote triggers). With the new camera technology also offering video, you can easily switch between image capture and video all while maintaining the same studio light set up. (You can't do this with strobes.)

Unlike most manufacturers, the uLites have undergone extensive testing making them both CE and CSA certified. The uLites each feature a tilter bracket allowing the units to be tilted in a vertical position. This is ideal when photographing babies and children. The included light stands are both durable and lightweight. They can be adjusted up to 6.5'.
