RED Komodo Kit E

This camera cage provides protective armor for the RED Komodo camera. It provides several 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting points for mounting accessories. It also includes two rosettes on each side as well as a cold shoe mount on top. The base of the cage also provides several mounting holes when attaching your camera to gimbals to more easily fine tune the balance of your setup.

A variety of different baseplates can be attached to the bottom of the cage, allowing for various rod mounting and optional power supply configurations. The quick release top handle, adjustable quick release top handle, and various optional side handles can be attached to the cage to provide for different ways to comfortably operate your camera setup. This kit of the RED Komodo camera cage will help to fully build out your setup.

It includes: the base RED Komodo cage, right side wooden handle, quick release top handle, Arca and Manfrotto quick release baseplates, 15mm LWS baseplate, an Adjustable Cold Shoe Accessory Mounting Bracket, and finally a Dual Canon BP to V Mount Adapter Battery Plate to allow for a longer battery life for your camera.

Lightweight hollowed-out design. Rigid stainless steel with colored plating. Compatible with an array of accessories, such as a side handle, SSD holder, etc. 1/4″-20 threaded screws with locating points for mounting accessories.

Top Plate

The built-in cold shoe mount supports accessories such as a monitor bracket, wireless video transmitter, articulating arm, side handle, etc.

Fully Adjustable Top Handle

Press the release button to quickly adjust the top handle or side handle. Provides easy access to view the top monitor.

360˚ adjustable angle. Solves power supply and focus control issues.

Fully Adjustable

The handle has built-in cold shoe mounts and a 15mm rod holder for mounting accessories. Loosen the 1/4″-20 screw to adjust the handle forward and backward.
