7.5mm T2.9 Zero-D S35 Cine

Laowa 7.5mm T2.9 Zero-D S35 Cine is the widest rectilinear prime lens you can find in the Super35 market, covering 123° angle of view. It produces high quality images with “Zero-Distortion” and minimal chromatic aberration which filmmakers save a lot effort on post production. The non dome-shaped front element allows 77mm screw-in filters that makes filming handy. Having a large aperture of T2.9 allows filmmakers to shoot under low light situations and control the depth of field, making it suitable for shooting in a limited space or for establishing shots.

Zero-D

The “Zero-Distortion” feature enables cinematographers to shoot with straight lines retained, resulting in impressive image quality. This design is extremely useful when shooting architectural, aerial and indoor footage.

High Image Quality

This optical design contains 16 elements in 10 groups, including 2 ED and 2 aspherical glasses for controlling chromatic aberration to the minimal. It renders outstanding and sharp images which saves a lot of time on post-production.

Minimum Focusing Distance

The relatively short focusing distance of 25cm/ 9.84” makes it ideal for focusing on close subjects with a strong background bokeh effect.
