65mm T2.9 2x Macro APO Cine Lens

Laowa 65mm T2.9 2x Macro APO Cine is the world’s first 2X maginifcation macro cinema lens on Super 35 sensors with 7cm minimum focusing distance. It can capture stunning details of objects from different sizes, a perfect lens for shooting close-up footages, B-rolls and mood shots.

Using the APO design, chromatic aberration is controlled to minimum, it renders high image quality and shape contrast. The smooth focusing ring with around 249° focus ring rotation gives a pleasant and precise shooting experience to cinematographers.

The 65mm Macro Cine lens can focus infinity to 2x magnification along with a minimum focusing distance of 8cm respectively. Incredible details of objects of different sizes can be revealed. It is the world’s first 2X macro lens for Super35 sensors.

The chromatic aberration (CA) in both in-focus and out-of-focus areas is suppressed to the minimum. The photos with less CA also avoid time-consuming post-production. 65mm T2.9 has 14 elements in 10 groups with 3 ED glasses, delivering stunning details and contrast from center to corner.

Smooth Bokeh

The lens is assembled with 9 aperture blades, delivering round and pleasing bokeh.

Professional Cine Housing

Optimized for film and video production, shooting efficiency is hugely improved for a smoother workflow. The lens equipped with 77mm filter thread and an industrial standard of 0.8 mod gear on both apertures and focus rings. A stepless aperture ring design for quiet and smooth control of iris. Both imperial and metric scales are printed on the lens body.
