The XCD 2.5/25V lens features 13 elements in 10 groups, including four aspheric elements and three Extra-low Dispertion (ED) elements. Equivalent to a full-frame 20mm focal length, this wide-angle lens delivers top-class optical performance with a compact build and supports an image resolution of over 100 megapixels. Equipped with an upgraded leaf shutter, the XCD 2.5/25V can reach a shutter speed of up to 1/4000s and delivers flash synchronisation at all speeds. The lens has both a focus ring and a lens control ring. Changing between AF and MF is achieved by a convenient push and pull of the focus ring. In MF mode, easily check the focus distance and DOF readings. The control ring can be customised for quick access to your preferred function.

With its precise optical design, the XCD 2,5/25V maintains a compact body while offering superior resolution, colour fidelity, and a large aperture. Compared with the XCD 4/21 with an f/4 maximum aperture, the smaller and lighter XCD 2,5/25V boasts a f/2.5 maximum aperture.

The XCD 2,5/25V's robust close-up capabilities also showcase its exceptional optical quality. Its minimum focusing distance is 25cm with a maximum image scale of 1:5.8. Fast Leaf Shutter, Flexible Light Manipulation

The XCD 2,5/25V adopts a large-diameter leaf shutter module with a shutter speed of up to 1/4000s. It enables both global shutter and flash synchronisation at all speeds, which is particularly advantageous for flash photography. For instance, in bright daylight conditions, the flash can be used to darken the surroundings, highlight the subject, and crisply freeze motion.
