Compact and Lightweight

The compact design measures just 63.9 × 103.2 x 60.2 mm (2.52 × 4.06 × 2.37 in) (W x H x D), weighing approximately 1.05 kg (2 lb 5.04 oz) with the PL mount adapter or just 0.54 kg (1 lb 3.05 oz) with the E-mount attached.

Detachable Cable (4.5m)

The detachable cable (4.5m) can be disconnected from the sensor, providing greater flexibility for routing the cable in tight environments before connecting the sensor head. The cable is constructed from a thinner, more flexible material, making it easier to position the sensor during setup and in confined spaces. Additionally, the cable’s flexibility allows for easier handling in various environments.

Drop-In ND Filter

To control exposure, individual drop-in ND Filters can be inserted into the sensor head block. It’s fast and simple. Included filters are Clear, 0.3, 0.6, 0.9, 1.2,1.5, 1.8, 2.1 and 2.4. Additionally, extra filters can be purchased as required, (optional CBK-ND1K).

8.6K Full-Frame VENICE 2 Sensor

Capture images with the same quality as VENICE 2 in a more compact body, thanks to its 8.6K full-frame VENICE 2 sensor built into the sensor head block. Compatibility with both the VENICE 2 8K (MPC-3628) and VENICE 2 6K (MPC-3626) means that VENICE 2 6K users can now take advantage of an 8.6K 
sensor.

External Lens Metadata Connector

Record metadata such as focus, iris and zoom, even with lenses that don’t support metadata communication. A LENS META IN connector for Cooke /i protocol is built into the PL mount adapter.

Built-in Gyro

A built-in tilt/roll gyro sensor in the sensor head block lets the operator check the level display in real time. Sensor data is captured in the metadata, for efficient editing and faster postproduction.

Assignable User Buttons

Cinematographers can shoot with more flexibility, operating multiple camera functions through the camera head block itself, thanks to two assignable buttons. When functions like REC or False Color Display toggle are activated, the button lights up orange.

Support for PL & E-Mount Lenses

Choose from a wide range of lenses, with a PL mount adapter included for easy swapping between E and PL mounts. Flange back adjustment also allows for fine-tuning the focus position, depending on the lens.

3D/VR Shooting

Explore high-resolution 3D/VR filmmaking by placing two camera head blocks next to each other to produce more natural, stereoscopic images that enhance the viewer’s feeling 
of immersion.

VFX Plate Shooting

Broaden the scope of your visual expression by stitching viewpoints together, with setups like 360° VFX plates. Bring together multiple camera head block to create a VFX plate rig, unlocking VFX plate shooting and virtual production background filming - all with a compact, lightweight rig.
