Overview
TOUGH Battery with Mini Size
The compact design of the Pro-X Tough Mini li-ion batteries make them 1/3 shorter than regular V-Mount batteries. They feature dual D-Tap & USB-Tap ports, and a 4-stage power gauge. These batteries can also withstand a drop from heights up to 2m onto concrete floors without suffering internal critical damages that render it unusable.
P-Tap
All PRO-X brick batteries have an incorporated P-Tap so you can power virtually any 12VDC device. Matched with PRO-X XP-DV-S/P/ EX/SE series adapter, you can use brick battery to power for 7.2V DV camera to extend shooting time. Cameras with onboard out current output limits can now simply tap into the battery.
4-stage LED Power Gauge
All PRO-X brick batteries have a 4-stage LED Power Gauge(5-stage for Hornet series), so you can quickly reference the charge status and remaining capacity of the battery in 25% increments(20% increments for Hornet series). When a battery is being used and you find there is only 1 LED light, you can prepare another battery for continuous shooting.
USB
Two USB ports output standard DC 5V, providing power supply for mobile devices and other equipment with a USB connector.

P-Tap
Two P-Tap ports can be used to power camera lights or other equipments. Also, they can be used as charging port when a PRO-X charger with P-Tap socket is used.
Outside + Inside
Extra thick ABS+PC+ flame-retardant material is used in the case of TOUGH mini.
The structure inside the battery fixes every cell in it, so the cells are wrapped up with all-around protection. Circuit boards are contained in independent limiting slots with USB and P-Tap all integrated together.
Firm and Reliable
There are two silicone non-slip straps on right and left sides of the front of TOUGH mini. The increased surface friction effectively helps to avoid battery drop during piling or handling.
* The -1 designation is a minor change to the original Tough Mini mould, which ensures the battery locks onto a Sony XDCA adapter and other 3rd party products more securely.
