15 Colour Modes to choose from

SIGMA's ample choice of colour modes will bring a greater range and freedom to your photography.

• Teal and Orange

  A colour mode inspired by colour grading used in filmmaking. This is about creating high contrast between orange colours, which are found in human skin tones, and teals (cyan blue), which are their complement, for visuals that are highly vibrant and deeply dramatic.
   

• Powder Blue

  It is a colour mode with a bright and clear feel, featuring a refreshing blue colour.
   

• Duotone

  Duotone turns the colours of an image into a striking two-colour gradient. It gives stills and videos a highly graphical look.

Save / Load Settings

With the fp L, you can now save a custom camera setting. Saved settings can be kept as QR code image data, so you can load many patterns of settings very quickly. This allows for a new, fun way for users to share custom settings they recommend with one another by exchanging QR codes with other users or sharing them on social media.

Smooth autofocus

The fp employs high-precision contrast AF, ensuring smooth autofocus when shooting.
In addition to the contrast AF, the fp L features fast image area phase-detection AF. This hybrid AF allows users to enjoy fast autofocus with excellent tracking.
Both the fp and fp L feature face/eye priority AF, which makes portrait shooting extremely smooth.

External Electronic Viewfinder

An external electronic viewfinder(optional) designed exclusively for use with the SIGMA fp series. With its 0.5 inch, 3.68 M dots OLED panel, this high-resolution, high-luminance viewfinder will make you feel immersed in your photography experience more thoroughly than ever.

Supports 3 RAW file formats

The SIGMA fp series supports CinemaDNG external recording, as well as Blackmagic RAW and ProRes RAW output to external screen recorder over HDMI. So you can choose a RAW file format according to your project workflow.

Supports camera control with a gimbal

With cooperation of a gimbal manufacturer, the fp series supports camera control with a gimbal. The excellent mobility of a compact camera system that takes advantage of a small and lightweight SIGMA fp camera will be perfect for gimbal shooting in a variety of settings.

Hybrid Autofocus | New to the fp L

In addition to high-precision contrast AF, the SIGMA fp L features fast image area phase-detection AF. It has high focus tracking to the subject and is useful for focusing in situations where manual focus is difficult, such as recording using a gimbal or one-operation recording.

Supports different frame rates

Supports different frame rates that are commonly used in filmmaking. The addition of true 24p, will further expand the range of projects you can cover with the fp series. Combined with DCI 4K recording with external output, it can be optimized to digital cinema formats.

Save / Load Settings

The SIGMA fp L has a feature to allow you to save custom camera settings. Saved settings can be kept as QR code image data, which can load instantly in a shoot. As anyone can load the same setting instantly by sharing the QR code, it will be useful for sharing camera settings in a shoot where multiple photographers are at work.

Webcam | Make your communication more engaging than ever.

Turn the SIGMA fp into a webcam with just a USB-C cable

The SIGMA fp series supports the USB video device class. Simply connect your camera to PC via USB and it sends audio and video to the PC, and works as a webcam. It will bring a stunning, full-frame image quality to online communication.

Power supply | New to the fp L

The fp L supports charging while the camera is on. When using it as a webcam, just connect the fp L using a USB-C cable and it works as an audio and video input device while getting its power supply from the PC. You can join an online meeting or stream video for as long as you want.

Hybrid Autofocus | New to the fp L

The fp L employs both high-precision contrast AF and fast image area phase-detection AF. It tracks the subject smoothly and keeps them in focus even when streaming video online.

Save / Load Settings

The SIGMA fp series comes with a feature that allows users to save a custom camera setting as QR code image data. If you have your choice of webcam setting ready in the form of QR code, you can load it very quickly when you need to use it at a meeting or a streaming event.

Frame guide: Supports custom frame lines

When shooting with different aspect ratios in mind, you can use a frame guide that's useful when you decide the composition. The fp series now supports custom frame lines, where you can add a given aspect ratio or absolute pixel dimensions. It will prove useful in filmmaking where it may be necessary to cover different formats from movie, television, smartphone, etc.

Selection of external viewfinders

You have a choice of two viewfinders for the fp series: the EVF-11, a high-definition and small-sized electronic viewfinder with an organic EL panel, or the LVF-11, an optical LCD viewfinder that allows you to see the view in a large LCD screen to check how it looks on the optical axis.

Screenshot

You can make a screenshot of any screen display on fp series cameras, including live view and menus. You can keep a record of the shooting situations and the camera setting in a single image.

Save / Load Settings

You can batch save complicated settings such as director's viewfinder and frame guide using a QR code. By storing QR codes, you can load one you need for a particular project instantly.
